Through Fiken's API, a system can create invoices and send them, with EHF as one of the delivery methods. It can also read incoming EHF documents, contacts, purchases and receipts.
Personal API tokens are for a company's own solutions. Apps that several companies will use connect through OAuth2, as Fiken requires.
The EHF requirement from 1 January 2027
From 1 January 2027, Norwegian businesses that keep accounts must send electronic invoices, EHF or Peppol BIS Billing 3.0, when they sell to other businesses that keep accounts. Until 2030 this applies in practice when the receiver can accept e-invoices. From 1 January 2030, businesses that keep accounts must also be able to receive them.
A PDF by email is not enough when the customer can receive EHF. Sole proprietorships with a turnover under NOK 50,000 are exempt.
If your system creates invoices itself, they can be created in Fiken and sent from there as EHF. That's how invoices go out from FENO today.

Do we have to send EHF from 2027?
